Admissions Policy
  Each
applicant must submit the following credentials by the end
of the Spring semester for which they are being considered
by the Admission Committee:
- Application to college.
- Official high school transcript
indicating completion of an approved 4-year high school
curriculum or the GED certificate. All transcripts and GED certificates should be submitted to Pam Paxton, WKCTC, Allied Health Building, P. O. Box 7380, Paducah, KY 42002-7380.
- Transcripts of all post-secondary
education or training.
- ACT or COMPASS score reports.
Minimum scores for admission to the program are ACT-16,
or Compass Reading-76, English-57, and Pre-Algebra-34.
- Points will be awarded for the following classes:
- Successful completion
of Computer Fundamentals - 2pts
- Points awarded
ONLY for the following core courses required by the
program:
- Completion
- A=5pts, B=3pts
- Anatomy
& Physiology
- Medical
Terminology
- Microbiology
- Documentation of attendance
of a pre-admission conference.

Students are required
to achieve a minimum grade of 'C' in all courses
to remain in the program.
