Admission to the Program
Each applicant must submit the following credentials by
March 1 of the year for which they are applying to be
considered by the admissions committee:
- Application for admission to the college
- Official high school transcript indicating completion of
an approved 4 year high school curriculum or the GED certificate.
- Transcripts of all postsecondary education or training
- ACT or Compass score reports. Minimum scores for admission
to the program are
ACT - 18, or Compass Reading - 76 Writing - 57 and Algebra
- 35
- Documentation of attendance at a PRE-ADMISSION
CONFERENCE.
Pre-Admission Conferences are for those students who are
currently enrolled in the general education pre-requisites
but have not applied to the DMS program, or are not presently
enrolled in courses for admission into the DMS program. It
is required that you attend a pre-admission conference before
you can apply to the DMS Program. If you are not admitted
into the program for the next admitting class, you must attend
another pre-admission conference to be considered an applicant
for next year's class.
Attendance to a pre-admission
conference is mandatory !
No pre-admission interviews for application to the Fall
2009 class will be held after February 11, 2009.
All are held at 4:00pm in room E105 of the Allied
Health Building.
- Documentation denoting completion of NAA 100 with a grade
of "C" or better, a radiography program, or a registered
nursing program.
- Documentation denoting completion of each Diagnostic Medical
Sonography prerequisite course with a grade of "C" or better.
