Admission to the Program
Drug and Background
check:
Policy:
Interested students should be aware that some hospitals and health
care facilities require students to pass a criminal background
and/or drug screen check. The procedures
for drug and background checks are available for viewing.
Each applicant must submit the following credentials
by March 1 of the year for which they are applying
to be considered by the admissions committee:
- Application for admission to the college
- Transcripts of all postsecondary education or training
- ACT or Compass score reports.
- Documentation of attendance of a pre-admission conference.
Preference may be given to:
- applicants with an ACT composite
score of 20 or above: or COMPASS scores in Algebra above 48,
Reading above 81, and Writing above 70.
- applicants who have a cumulative
GPA of 2.5 or better (4 point scale) in 10 hours of college
credit applicable to the radiography program;
- applicants who have completed the biological and physical
sciences and mathematics courses listed in the radiography curriculum
with a grade of "C" or better.
