Tuition, fee, and refund information is available on the College Web site.  In addition to tuition and fees, students are responsible for other expenses such as travel to and from clinical sites, supplies, lab coats, books, etc.

Financial Aid

West Kentucky Community & Technical College participates in a full range of federal and state financial aid programs that include grants, loans, and work-study.  For information on any of these programs, contact the Financial Aid Office by phone at (270) 534-3284.  The College also awards academic scholarships to first-time freshmen and continuing students.  Scholarship information may be obtained by calling (270) 534-3408.  Loans for physical therapist assistant students accepted into the program may be available from the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association (www.kpta.org) and from the American Physical Therapy Association (www.apta.org).

Liability Insurance:

All students admitted into the Physical Therapist Assistant program are required to have professional liability insurance in effect during the second, third, and fourth semesters of the program. Premiums are reasonable, usually under $30 per year.

Health Services:

Although no health clinic is provided on campus, students seeking medical services are referred to the emergency rooms of Lourdes, Western Baptist Hospital, or to local physician's offices.  Students are responsible for any costs associated with these services.
