 West Kentucky Community & Technical College offers a Nail Technician
certificate designed to provide students with the knowledge
and skills required to pass state licensing examinations.
This certificate option provides 600 hours of training in
professional services in order to give students a thorough
understanding of both theory and all pertinent subjects.
Nail Technician students give manicures, pedicures and provide
all nail enhancement services. They may also perform general
duties such as making appointments, cleaning the lab and
equipment, and sterilizing equipment.
This certificate option is offered only in the evening
from
3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
